Growing wedding grass for Amy Dickinson and Bruno Schickel's wedding

It all starts with an idea and a drawing

A future farmer gets his start

Filling "Maryhill Clayworks" bowls with dirt

Planting the grass seed on good soil

The look of satisfaction for a job well done

Cut Your Grass

Cut the grass after 2 1/2 weeks so that it grows thick and strong
Give it lots of sun and water

Grass, Sunflowers and Zinnias meet

Fill the bowl with water so it acts as an oasis
Make holes in the grass with a chopstick for the Zinnias
Waiting for the tablecloths

More Wedding Flowers

Sunflowers in a Maryhill Clayworks Bumpy Vase

Friends, a dog and kids

Kind friends spend hours helping me arrange the flowers
